Christmas Cheer for Children & Adults Alike!

Greetings, and welcome to what is commonly called the 'silly season'.
Yes, Christmas is just around the corner and we all have a busy few weeks ahead.
Can I encourage you to chill out and make time for some creative relaxation??

This month I have planned 2 workshops especially designed for children to allow them to explore the world of scrapbooking and card making.
There are two special dates for 2 special projects.
Places are strictly limited to SIX children aged GRADE 3 or above.
Children will choose FOUR cards they wish to make on the day of the cards workshop.
There are TWO sets of each of the scrapbooking layouts 1 - 3, so these can be chosen on a first in basis.
Because these are introductory workshops they will operate for an hour and 15 minutes, instead of the standard two hours. This reduced teaching time will be reflected in the cost.

THURSDAY 15TH DECEMBER ..4.15  -  5.30pm ..................   scrapbooking.

COST FOR BOTH:   $25                       or attend just one  $15

Shades of blue greeting cards

Our next workshop will not be a brain-drainer ladies.
Thursday 10th November we'll be making 3 simple but attractive cards at a workshop fee of only $20. We'll be using the Ezy-Press, a number of embellishments and of course some stamping. When you have made the three tags for your messages, you are free to choose the greeting of your choice.
Starting time is our usual 7.30pm. If you'd like to  join us, advanced warning would be useful -but on this occasion not essential as I have plenty of supplies of the products we'll be using. Hope to see you!!

How many times have you said those two little words ........... either in your mind or out loud??????
This Thursday night, 13th October, at our usual 7.30 till 9.30, you'll have the opportunity to make a double-page scrapbooking layout to mount your REMEMBER WHEN photos.
You can choose your own theme ............. you may have photos of yourself as a young sports star, or baby photos of a relative soon to turn a special age ........someone's first day at school........ or wedding photos you have never put into an album.
Whatever you decide, you are going to love the techniques we use to create these pages.

Workshop cost is $30 per person.

well it might be school holidays next week, but that's not going to stop us from creating some gorgeous cards!!
Created from the latest release papers from Kaszazz, 'Timeless', these cards are sure to please. We'll be using THREE brand new Ezy_Press Dies, fabulous new lace products and THREE fantastic new stamps.
You get to choose your own greetings to be added to the centre of the cards.
Workshop cost is $25 ................ but you'll have enough leftover bits and pieces to make a couple of extras!!!

Time Is Precious!!

This terrific layout would make the perfect front page for any album, to keep or to give away. Using various embellishments and chipboard, the workshop, which consists of the single page scrapbooking plus a matching gift card, costs $30 per person.

However, if you don't wish to purchase the whole sheets of chipboard popouts and can be flexible as to your actual title page wording, the cost can be brought back to $25.

The photo I have used is only 6 x 4, but the page has been designed to have a 5 x 7 photo mounted on it!

It's that time of month again Ladies ............... no, I'm not getting personal........... I mean it's time to let me know if there's anything you need to buy to add to this month's order.

August 4th is the date for our next workshop and it's back to a scrapbooking layout.
Once again, everything was prepared before I injured my ankle thankfully, so you don't have to worry about me trying to hobble around to get things ready!!
Join me Thursday 4th August 1.15 till 3.15  or 7.30 till 9.30 to complete this great double page layout.
While it's title is All Boy - there's no reason why the layout can't be used for a girl.
Each person's pack contains a set of rub-ons as well as other materials so the workshop cost is $30 per person.

HOLIDAYS and Beyond!!

Greetings girls.
There's nothing like sunshine and craft to lift your mood ........ and that's just what I have enjoyed for several hours today.

For those of you who are mums at home with children over the school holidays, why not get the kids to do some journaling for family photos for you? Or turn their hand to card making for those birthdays coming up in the second half year????  The hours will simply fly and you'll end up with some treasured memories.

Our next Thursday night workshop will be the first week back of term, Thursday 21st July and will be a set of jungle animal birthday cards. You can use an alternate 'Congratulations' greeting if you'd like to use them as baby cards - the choice is yours. This workshop uses coloured rub-ons, double-sided paper and embossing. The cost is $30.

With many people hesitant to come out in the cold, workshop numbers have been down, so to tempt you and your friends to attend throughout July and August, I am running a special Beat The Cold promotional!!
Bring a friend who has not attended a workshop with me before and you'll pay only $25, as well as receiving a  thankyou gift. 

So ......  put your thinking caps on and consider who you could invite. At $25 per person this workshop is suitable for Beginners and as such would make a great gift for a friend or family member.

School Days Pencil Box PLUS products sale

Our new off the page craft which we'll be creating on Thursday June 23rd is an all purpose gift box.
VERY easy to make, but with a definite WOW factor, this box can be used to store pencils or pens, or can be filled with lollies, shortbread, trading cards, ribbons or hair ties ............. it's use is limited only by your imagination.
It can be made in any colour combination to suit your needs.

Mini misters, perfect pearls and much more!

Scrapbooking time has come around again girls, and on Thursday 9th June our new layout offers yet again a couple of new techniques.
We'll be using mini misters, perfect pearls, embossing AND some adhesive paper to punch and glitter some fabulous butterflies!
One of the great things about this double page layout is that you can attach any sized photos you like in the spaces available .... use your standard reprint size in portrait position like I have, or position your photos in landscape position - standard size or enlarged.
Whilst I couldn't offer this option for  every layout we do, if you would prefer to make 6 cards using the same materials you are welcomed to this time around. Pictures of samples can be found underneath the scrapbooking pages.

Blended Sunsets

For those ladies who survived the training day, congratulations!!!!
The demonstration card that impressed everyone so much has become my motivation for this week's class.
We'll be using the same techniques as I discussed on Saturday, except this time you'll get to do the creating.

Off the page - 12th May

This coming Thursday we will be making the Elegant Gift Box [ pictured ] at a cost of $25 per person.
I have a range of colours to choose from, so when you book in please make your choice so that it's put aside.
Check your catalogues for a look at the colours. Those on offer are:
fired brick [red], shabby shutters [light green], peeled paint mid green], antique linen [creamy peach], dusty concord [purple], faded jean [blue], starnished brass and antiqued bronze.

This box makes a lovely gift, and once you've learnt how to make it you can make as many as you like with the materials costing only $15!

Enchanted

Well, here it is, our scrapbooking layout for Thursday 28th April - two sessions 1.30-3.30pm and 7.30-9.30pm.

Using the Enchanted range of Kaszazz papers and your choice of words [cute just seemed to fit this one] you'll make this double page layout.
At $30 per person this is my final April Holiday Madness offer. This workshop usually costs $45 due to the range of embellishments used, so it's a gift at $30. If you missed out on the previous layout, you get another chance at using chipboard letters to enhance your projects. This particular layout lends itself really well  to display school or kinder photos either for yourself or as a gift.

Speaking of gifts, all new customers attending this workshop will also receive a product gift from Kaszazz with a RRP $9.95 simply by turning up and adding your name to our customer database.

April Options

This Thursday 14th we'll be making these cards together; the workshop cost being $25.
It's a little hard to tell from the photos but each card has different bits and pieces added to it. The first card has been put through the Ezi-Press to emboss it, the second has been embossed using distress embossing powder, the third is a combination of stamping with embellishments and the fourth uses stamping and painting with the crayons.
On the night I will show you 3 other options for re-producing each of the cards using different colour combinations and stamping patterns. Bookings are essential, so if you'd like to join us but haven't confirmed, please email me today, Monday 11th.

Using Chipboard Embellishments

Well done to those ladies who completed the Discover scrapbooking layout.

Did you ever think you could do so much with chipboard words, letters or numbers???
For those who couldn't make it check out the Kaszazz website under two hour projects, and in the online flier have a look at workshop 2H759 Discover Flourish. This layout uses chipboard words sponged with three different coloured inks and when dry topped with Glossy Accents.
Remember though you can emboss chipboard, you can colour with ink and top with crackle paint OR you can paint the letters with Smooch.
If you have done something different, why not share it with others through the comment option?

Cardmaking Surprise

Continuing with my Holiday Madness, I am offering two FREE Make and Take workshops during the day Thursday 14th April, as well as my regular workshop 7.30 - 9.30pm. Bookings for the Make and Takes would be helpful, and but are a must for the workshop.
